A Few of My Favorites…

I love my Christmas tree.  I look forward to putting it up all year, and, at times, wish it could just stay up all year!!!  I love ALL of the ornaments on it, but these are a few of my favorites!

I had a Christmas ornament shower before we got married, and I got so many beautiful Christmas ornaments.  One of my favorites was the Christopher Radko “Just Married” car!  A sweet reminder of our wonderful wedding day!

I also love this beautiful church.  Our faith is such a huge part of our lives, marriage, and family so this church is a great reminder of that!

I bought this ornament from the MC bookstore when I was in college.  I knew that one day I would want to put it on our tree when we were married as a reminder of Michael’s football days at MC.

In 2005, Michael and I went to Disney World.  It was the most fun trip, and we were just like kids the whole time!  We visited the Disney Christmas store at Downtown Disney, and it took me an eternity to pick out an ornament.  It was quite an overwhelming store!  I love this Mickey hat.  You put it over a light so it will light up.  I also got another blown glass ornament in the shape of Mickey’s ears, but I dropped it and shattered it the first time I went to put it on my tree.  It was SO upsetting!

This ornament was a gift when I was pregnant with Myla.  On the book it says, “Parents to Be” and it has the year, 2006.

The next Christmas was Myla’s first – 2007.

In 2009, it was just the three of us!

Also, in 2009, I was pregnant with Selah and my dad and step-mom gave me this precious “Mom to Be Angel”!

I decided this year that I would try each year and get an ornament with the girls’ picture in it for that year.  I found these cute ones for 2010!

And, of course, Selah has one too.  I’ve got to get her an official “Baby’s First Christmas” ornament, though.

One thing I always looked forward to before I had kids was homemade ornaments.  They are so precious because you can obviously tell they were done by sweet, little hands!

I love this one, too!  This was Myla’s sweet little handprint from 2008.

Like I said earlier, there are many more ornaments on our tree that I could claim as favorites as well!  One thing Michael and I have always done is try and get ornaments whenever we go on a trip, which is always fun to look back on.  I hope all of you are enjoying your Christmas decorations as much as we are!

Merry CHRISTmas!!
