Okay, I Know I'm the Annoying Mom...

But I never get tired of her smile!!!!!

Selah and I have had the day to ourselves because Myla spent the night with Mimi and Bodie last night. We have had a really good day! I was able to clean the whole house without a little miss someone following behind me pulling out every toy she has!! It has certainly been a lot more quiet, as well. I think Selah knows that she has me all to herself because she has been so happy and smiley!!!

I Said I Would NEVER Drive a Minivan...

....but, as of today, I am!
I am so excited about it too! Michael's car is on it's last leg, so we knew that we were going to probably be purchasing a vehicle this year. We have been on the lookout for one, and we got a great deal!! Myla is excited about it too! It is a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. I seriously can't believe that I am going to drive a minivan. Michael used to joke with me when we were dating and he would say, "Baby, you're going to look so good in a minivan one day." And I would respond, "You are out of your mind if you think I am going to drive a minivan!" It's amazing how several years and two kids will completely change your mind!

Trip to Arkansas for Maggie's Graduation...

Thursday we loaded up and headed to Arkansas for Maggie's graduation. I can hardly believe that she is old enough to graduate from high school. It really seems like yesterday that she was born. It really made me realize how quickly time goes by, and that it will seem like no time that my girls will be donning a cap and gown. It was so good to get to see family and celebrate this special time with Maggie. We are all so proud of her, and we look forward to all that God has in store for her future.
Cheesing it up in the car on the way. Selah and Myla both traveled very well....much better than I expected, to be honest!
Selah was cheesing it up too!
Don't know if you heard, but there was a shootout in West Memphis on Thursday. We came through during it, and they had completely shut down the inbound traffic into Memphis. Thank the Lord we were going the other way. The traffic was literally stopped for MILES. People were standing outstide of their cars just talking to each other. It was terrible, and it was such a tragedy for the West Memphis Police Department.
Sleeping children = successful travel...
again...success!

Myla loves Maggie! When we are there, she wants to play with her the whole time. She is lucky to have such a wonderful aunt!

Mother's Day and Selah's Dedication...

I am so behind with this post, but I have been having so much trouble uploading pictures. I finally just had to upload one picture at a time, so it has taken forever......
On Mother's Day, Michael and I got to dedicate our precious Selah to the Lord. It was such a special day, especially since it was on Mother's Day. I am so blessed to have two sweet girls that the Lord has entrusted to me as a Mother. It is such a huge responsibility! I am so thankful to be able to be at home with them as well. Some days are so hard, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I can't imagine not having this time with them...before long, they will be gone. Time just flies!
Sweet girl patiently waiting with Mimi on the service to start.
The christening gown we have came from Brussels. My Aunt Be bought it before there were any grandchildren in the family, and now four babies have worn it. We have had their names monogrammed on the slip. Hopefully, it will be passed down to the generations to come.
Mommy, Daddy and Selah after the service. She slept through the entire thing!

After church we went to Newk's for lunch. We were able to get the party room, so we had a room to ourselves, which was nice. Myla was so excited to see Pey Pey!

Selah, Mommy and Daddy promise to do everything they can to raise you in the love and with the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that you will grow to love HIM with all of your heart, soul, strength and mind. We pray that you come to know Him as your Savior. We look forward to that day with both you and Myla. We love you both of you so much!
