Let's Go To The Movies!!

Today was a "first" for Myla, and by default, a "first" for Selah as well. But, Myla was the only one that knew what was going on! We went to see a movie today at the real theatre!! I wasn't sure how Myla would do considering sometimes she is a little skiddish in new places, but she did great. We sat on the FRONT row and it was LOUD! Her friends, Jack, Caroline and Hattie Busby were there as well as Mrs. Katie and Robbie. The Oxford Malco shows older movies on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 with a $2.00 admission and a $2.00 kid's snack pack, which includes popcorn, a drink, and a full sized candy bar/snack...today it was Laffy Taffy, and Myla was very pleased with that choice! We will definitely do this again! Oh, and the movie was Kung Fu Panda....I know, I've been dying to see it too! HA!
Myla showing off her first ever movie ticket!
Caroline and Myla - Caroline was so sweet during the movie and shared her blanket with Myla since she was cold! So excited to have a whole box of popcorn to herself!
Caroline and Myla in their booster seats. They're so light, the seat almost folded up on them without the booster! Can you tell Myla is having a good time??
Mrs. Katie and Robbie. Robbie was hysterical! It would be kind of a "scary" part of the movie and he would just die out laughing. Robbie didn't last the whole movie, but I think he still had a great time! Grace decided it would be more fun to stay at her Mimi's house with her her baby brother, Charlie!
Not the best picture of Myla, but I am trying to document with pictures that I am a part of her life!
This is how Myla sat for the first 15 minutes of the movie. It was pretty loud, but once she got used to it, she uncovered her ears. I'm sure people were rolling their eyes at me taking so many pictures...oh, well!
Little peanut slept through it. She woke up after about 20 minutes, but I just held her and she fell back asleep for the rest of the time. I couldn't believe it because she is a pretty light sleeper at home, but the noise didn't seem to bother her today.
Jack, Myla, Hattie, and Caroline
I love this picture! We didn't even tell them to do it!
After the movie, we went to the Busby's to have lunch and play for a little while. Caroline and Jack LOVE babies and they wanted to hold Selah, so we happily obliged.
Hattie gets a turn too!
And, of course, Jack Jack was not to be left out!!!
