This little monkey is now completely mobile!!! She has been getting wherever she wants to go for awhile now by rolling, but now she is officially a crawler. Tonight while I was drying Myla's hair, Michael said he could hear Selah but wasn’t sure where she was. Guess where he found her…under the kitchen table! Do you think she is proud of herself!

We LOVE The Graysons!!!
Our great friends, the Graysons, came to visit today, and we, as usual, had so much fun!! We have been friends with Chad and Lenora since Michael and Lenora were in PT school together…before Michael and I were even engaged! When Michael first started school, he said “There is this girl in my class that I think you would really get along with!” Well, needless to say, once we met, the rest was history!! We have been close couple friends ever since! We have spent hours together laughing our heads off. Nobody can make me and Michael laugh harder than Chad!! Chad played a special part in our wedding, and said things that we will always treasure! We have vacationed together numerous times which has resulted in hundreds of memories that we still laugh about every time we are together! We are so thankful that they are now in Tupelo, where Chad is the pastor at First Baptist there. It is so much fun to get together now with our children!! They had a blast playing together today, and the adults had a good time too!
Annlee was SO good with Selah and just wanted to play with her the whole time they were here.Playing peek-a-boo!Myla and Deuce hanging out playing on Chad’s phone. On the way to our house today, Deuce told him parents that he was going to marry Myla one day. I think that would work out great! The 4 kiddos hanging out in Selah’s room playing with her new ball popper! I really don’t think that toy has an age limit!
Playing outside! Don’t our princesses look beautiful! And Deuce is SO handsome, too!
Trying Out The New Scooter…
Myla was ready to try out her scooter this week, so she geared up in her helmet and knee pads! Safety first!!
Up close in her Hello Kitty helmet!
She did GREAT on the scooter…much better than I expected! I think she will have it down pat in no time! I didn’t get many pictures because I was holding Selah and she was trying her best to get her hands on my camera!

Christmas at Mimi & Bodie’s House…
On Sunday after church, we headed to Batesville to have Christmas with my family at Mimi and Bodie’s house. Myla was ready to get there and open more presents! I will say that she was so grateful this year when she opened presents. She usually thanked whoever gave it to her without having to be told. It can be difficult to teach gratefulness when gifts are bountiful and toys are already everywhere, but I want to always make sure that she realizes how blessed she is even when she gets nothing new.
The three grandchildren – Myla, Selah and Henry in front of the tree.
Thankfully, this little sweetie was feeling better and could join us for all of the fun!
Passing out the presents. Henry had been at Mimi & Bodie’s house earlier in the week and had already gotten all of his presents together!!
They were getting excited about tearing into their presents!
When did she get so big? Cutting the ribbon off of her own presents!! She definitely needs NO help, and she will quickly let you know that she can “do it herself”!
Selah was surrounded by new toys, but all she wanted to do was pull up on the coffee table and play with the decorative balls. We finally put the balls on the floor so she would have easier access!
Happy girl with some new princess books!
I love this face! She would do this with almost every present, so I was so excited that I caught it on camera. I don’t think she even knew what a scooter was, but she was excited to get it!
This was probably one of her favorite gifts – her stage! Mom got her a karaoke machine and had the idea to get her a stage to “perform” on. I had a friend build it, then I painted her name on it. She started dancing when she got on it, and she has already been performing for us on it at home!
Pretty girl on her new stage!
Selah would just crawl around until she found something to chew on.
Thanking Mimi for her new things!
And, of course, Bodie needed to be thanked too!
My stepdad has always been a HUGE Lakers fan, so I new I wanted to get him a Championship T-shirt from this year. Well, when I saw this one, I knew he would love it! It says 16 time Champions and on the back it says all the years they won the championship. He LOVED it!
Mom and Peyton
These two love each other so much!
Selah sitting on her big present from Mimi & Bodie…a new carseat!
Aren’t these bloomers adorable? My friend, Katie, got them for her for the Christmas season.
Myla and Henry updating their height chart. They have had an Elmo one up for awhile, but they have both outgrown it, so Mimi had to get a new one.
Bodie & Myla. See, I told you he liked his new shirt!
Aunt Be & Mom
Our Tupelo family came over after we finished opening our gifts and spent the rest of the day with us.
Olivia & Me
Selah getting love from Mommy and playing pat-a-cake
George & Selah – I love her face! She was looking at him like, “I don’t know if you are aware of this, but this has been my table all day! Don’t think you are going to take it over!”
The view of Selah for most of the day – pulling up on the coffee table.
Myla and Pey Pey
Rich and Myla
The kids loved playing on Mimi & Bodie’s big bed. Myla was determined the George was going to watch Beauty & The Beast with her, but he was way too busy for that!
George blowing on his new train whistle.
Aunt Be & Myla
Rich in his new “Hot Head”. Olivia and Rich live right outside of Vail, and I think Rich pretty much skis everyday in season, so Mom got him a new hat that has all of these different uses.
Myla with Sis Sis and her new Snuggie. Myla picked it our for her in zebra print!
Our little family - the best picture we could get!
Myla (post bath) and George playing “No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed” on Be and Chi Chi’s Iphones.
The great grands with Sis Sis
Chelsea and Myla
Of course, these two had to give kisses before they left.
The Mothersheds and Selah
Myla with Kim, my brothers best friend from childhood. She was able to come spend the afternoon with us, which was so much fun!
Whew….
I think I’m caught up from Christmas!!!!! What a GREAT Christmas we had! I can’t believe it has come and gone already. We have taken our Christmas decorations today which is always bittersweet to me. We have also spent time reorganizing and trying to find a place for all of the new toys!
Christmas Afternoon…
On Christmas afternoon, Mimi and Bodie stopped by to see Myla and Selah with their Christmas morning loot. Of course, Myla was so excited they came, and she couldn’t wait to show them all of her (and Selah’s) new things.
Bodie, Mimi, and their “Grands”!
Selah getting some love from Mimi
Like I said earlier, Myla has enjoyed Selah’s toys as much as Selah has. She loved chasing the balls as they flew off of the ball popper!
I think the girls are tired of hearing, “Okay, y’all get by the tree so Mommy can take your picture”, because this is the best one I got on Christmas day!
Don’t let this face fool you!! She was so fussy on Christmas day. I told Michael that she must not have gotten the memo that you are supposed to be happy on Christmas!!
After Mom and Frank stayed awhile, Myla and I loaded up with them and headed to Tupelo to see my family. Michael and Selah stayed home since she wasn’t feeling too great. We first went to Henry’s house so we could see what Santa had brought him.
Myla and Henry playing the Bedbugs game. Henry has been obsessed with bedbugs since the story broke about New York being infested with them. Donna said when she saw this game, she knew she had to get it for him!
Sis Sis & Myla
After we left Henry’s, we went to my Aunt Be and Uncle Doc’s house to see them and my cousins. I LOVE this picture of Myla because it shows her at what she does best…smile and be ON THE MOVE!
I think this picture is so funny because Myla and George, my cousin Olivia’s son, are in their own little worlds.
Chelsea, Myla and George. Trying to get a picture of George looking at the camera is quite a feat!
“Kissing Cousins”. Ha!
Sweet George
Henry enjoyed playing with George’s toys too.
Myla and her Pey Pey
George and his Chi Chi
The kids had so much fun playing hide and seek. Myla would tell George where to hide and then she would tell him she was going to count and she’d be right back. I guess she doesn’t fully understand the concept of the game, but George thought it was a great idea!
Telling George to hide in the shower
Olivia and Rich
Aunt Be and Uncle Doc
These two stayed busy all night! Here they are watching the slide show of pictures on the computer.
When that got old, they moved on to writing and calculating.

Matthew and Chelsea
Giving kisses before we left!
Olivia, Rich and George live in Colorado, so it was so great to get to spend time with them this Christmas. We also saw them the next day to do our actual Christmas together, but that’s another post because I have a bajillion pictures!!!!!!
