Twinkies...

Myla and Grace were twinkies tonight at church with their matching dresses! These two love each other so much...they are practically like sisters. Two sweet girls!!
On a side note, Selah has her second ear infection. She came down with a cold on Friday, and has continued to be congested, sneezing, coughing, fussy, and funky eyes all weekend. I called the doctor this morning and she said with her history of have that ear infection early on that it was probably worth coming in to look at her ears. Well, she was right. The right ear was "bulging, red, and yucky" according to Dr. Molly. So now we are on antibiotics and hopefully she will feel better very soon. Bless her little heart!

Welcome Mackensy Lee Peterson...

My neighbor and one of my best friends, Susan, had her baby last night...very unexpectedly!! She was scheduled for a C-Section on July 13th because the baby was breech. Well, I went over last night around 7:45 pm to deliver Haley's invitation to Myla's birthday party, and Susan was complaining because they wouldn't be able to come because it was on a weekday. I said, "Well, you may be able to come...you may have a baby by then (July 9th)", and she said, "Don't say that...I'm not going to have a baby by then!" We visited for awhile and I came on home. Around 8:30 pm, I get a phone call from Susan saying they are on their way to the hospital because her blood pressure was through the roof! Lo and behold, little Mackensy was born at 11:01 pm. Susan said it was my fault....that I had jinxed her. Oh well, she is here and she is beautiful and tiny!!!

Selah was glad to meet Mackensy too!! She looked like the Jolly Green Giant compared to her though. I can't believe that just a few months ago she was that little!
Sweet baby

Mackensy and Selah...they are almost 4 months apart and Haley and Myla are 5 months apart...don't you know they are all going to have fun growing up together!

Date Night...

Michael and Myla went on a date last night to Holli's Sweet Tooth after supper. He had been promising her he would take her there for awhile because my parents took her a few weeks back and she got some Starbursts. Well, after she went to bed that night, Michael ate the rest of them. Of course, when she woke up the next morning, she immediately asked for her Starbursts. Well, Michael had to admit that he had eaten them, to which she responded, "Daddy-O"...said with great sarcasm. Anyway, he finally took her last night to make up for the Starburst incident. They had a good time!
Getting ready to go...such a special treat!
Myla chose to wear her "shiny princess" shoes, and, as you can tell, Daddy was very impressed!
Myla thought Daddy needed a little lipstick for the date...what a great Daddy!
Myla with her loot...she even brought me a bag! And, yes, she did get some more Starbursts...her favorite!
And, if you are wondering, Michael did get a haircut by yours truly...I buzzed it off on Sunday night! I actually really like it alot!

New Videos...

Myla loves to sing!!!

Here she is singing Zacchaeus. Listening to it just makes me smile!

(Scroll down to the bottom of the page to pause the playlist)

Every night when Myla goes to bed, Michael lays down beside her and they sing a few songs. These two are her current favorites...

She calls this one "Decide"...I Have Decided to Follow Jesus...

And this one is "The Blood"...Nothing But the Blood of Jesus...

And here is little Selah doing some "talking" of her own. These little voices just make me so happy!

Bodie's Shirt...

Last night Bodie came to see us, and his shirt just fascinated Selah. It was so funny! She kept staring at the charicatures and trying to touch them. She wouldn't even look up at Bodie...she was fixated on his shirt! Ha!!

Okay, Okay, I Know..

but this couch just provides endless smiles!!

Selah has discovered Oskie..

On Sunday afternoon, Selah was relaxing in her nap nanny when Oskie came and sat right by her. She just stared and stared at him and started smiling. He has been laying/sitting by her ont he floor since she was born, but she hasn't really noticed him. But, yesterday, she couldn't take her little eyes off of him! Maybe her first word with be Oskie, like her sisters was.
Selah trying to figure out what this dog is all about...
"Hey, Osk, give me a hug, buddy!"
"Come on, I'm really trying to give you a hug!!" Notice where Tanner is...begging Michael for some food....that's typical!

Fun at Granddaddy and Sae Sae's...

On Saturday, we went to spend some time with Granddaddy, Sae Sae, Aunt Mary and Uncle Spencer. We had such a fun and relaxing day just spending time together. Myla always has a blast at Granddaddy and Sae Sae's because, as you can imagine, she gets to do just about anything she wants to do, but hey, that's what grandparents are for, right?
The girls waiting for us to get the car loaded up before we left. Notice that Myla has given Selah her pink hippo that someone gave Selah when she was born. Myla feels that she really needs it since she knows the importance of a "lovey" in her life. Michael, on the other hand, says that Selah will not be attached to anything, since Myla's pink dog has caused much drama and heartbreak!
Not long after we got there, Myla had already gotten into Sae Sae's jewelry!! I didn't get her arm in the picture, but it had about 7 bracelets on it, don't worry!
Daddy and Granddaddy grilling our fabulous lunch!
After lunch, Selah found a great napping place...in Graddaddy's arms.
Granddaddy decided that Selah had a good thing going on, so he joined her for a little snooze as well.
While Granddaddy and Selah slept, Myla roped Uncle Spencer into playing with the jewelry and watching Aladdin. He is so good with her...he will be a great daddy one day!

Selah giving us lots of smiles!!
Myla, Mary Jennifer and Michael
Me and Selah....I was looking for pictures last week for Michael's Father's Day present, and I had a ton of him and the girls, but I realized that I had hardly any of me with them. I am going to try and do better about taking pictures with them, so they will know that I did exist during their childhood!!
Selah sacked out again in Aunt Mary's arms.
On the way to Batesville, we stopped at a yard sale and found this princess couch/fouton for $1.00. Obviously, Myla loves it, and it was a GREAT place for her and Aunt Mary to watch Aladdin!
Sweet girl watching Tootsie, Aunt Mary and Uncle Spencer's dog, play.

Just hanging out in Daddy's lap...life doesn't get much better!
Thanks, Sae Sae and Granddaddy for a wonderful day!
