I love putting up Christmas decorations right after Thanksgiving so we can enjoy them for the whole month of December. Michael and I decided that our tradition would be to put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving night as a family after we have our meal together. Michael also requested chicken spaghetti for our little family meal together, so I cooked that and we ate...just the 3 of us. It was a special night...until Myla started melting down during supper. Bless her heart, she was simply exhausted from the week of seeing family and being away from home for several nights. So, we decided that decorating the tree would have to wait until after she went to bed! Maybe she can help us next year!
