Last Saturday we had a great day hosting my family for Christmas! I had been looking so forward to having everyone here, and we had a great time. The kids were so excited to be together and open presents! Selah is figuring out this present opening pretty quickly! I am so thankful for my family! We missed my cousin, Chelsea, who was studying for finals for optometry school as well as my cousin, Olivia, and her family that live in Colorado!
Selah was excited that everyone was coming to her house!!
Trying to get the kiddos to pose in front of the tree…this was the best I could do!
Pey Pey and the kids were listening to something on his phone.
Of course, the kids were so ready to open presents, so we let them open theirs first. Myla loved her Brain Quest game from her cousins, George and Miles.
All was good in Selah’s world because she got several new Barney videos!
Mimi and Bodie gave Henry this plaque. He and my mom have said this saying to each other for a long time. My mom has had it for awhile, but she wanted to wait and give it to him when he could read. This year, he was able to read what it said!
Myla loved her Wizard of Oz book. She saw it in Square Books, Jr. forever ago and loved it. My mom found it online and ordered it. We were in Square Books, Jr. last week, and Myla started looking for this book, and they were all out. She was so excited when she opened it and had one of her own.
Henry and Pey Pey gave Myla this fun game, “What’s in Ned’s Head?”
Selah opening up another Barney!
This was probably Myla’s favorite gift. It is a learning pad that she calls her iTouch (she REALLY wants an iTouch). Ha!
Selah loved her Sesame Street microphone from Pey Pey and Henry
Selah was ready to have one her new books books read to her, and Pey Pey was happy to oblige!
Aunt Be was helping Myla work on her learning pad.
Daddy and his girls!
Myla helped Sis Sis look through the calendar we gave her.
Before Pey Pey and Henry had to leave, we tried to get some family pics! Bodie and Mimi with Henry
Of course, Myla had to jump in to the next one!
Then with the baby!
Henry and Sis Sis
Selah loves her great grands!
Doesn’t Myla look 16 with her legs crossed? She and Aunt Be had fun playing Brain Quest!
