The most glorious thing happened this weekend… Mimi and Bodie kept BOTH girls on Friday night! It was my first night away from Selah, and she did great!! My mom was a little nervous about keeping her overnight, but she did fine. It was so wonderful for Michael and I to have a night together! We went to eat and went to the movies. I didn’t know what to do with my self at supper! I was eating so fast because I normally have to do that while tending to two children at a restaurant! We went to see “Soul Surfer”, and I would highly recommend it. Then, I stayed in the bed until after 9:30 on Saturday morning! It was wonderful!!! I love being a mom, don’t get me wrong, but every now in then, it is great to not have to take care of somebody else for a few hours!!
While Selah was with my mom, she got her first hair cut. She was sporting a mullet big time, and it was time for it to go! My mom said she did great! I will have to get the pictures off of her camera to document it!
Nothing much else happened this weekend, honestly! I did get Selah a new booster seat to eat in so we could get rid of the big, clunky high chair. She looks like such a big girl eating at the table! She ate off of a plate for the first time. I just knew she was going to pull it off of the table, but I think she respects her food too much to do that! She ate right off of the plate like she had been doing it for forever!
