Welcome Hurricane Gustav Evacuees...

Our good friends, Joseph and Mechelle Parker and their twin boys Joseph and Jacob, came to stay with us for the past two nights to get away from the hurricane. They live in Hattiesburg, but they didn't want to be without power if it got too bad. You can imagine how busy it has been around here with 3 toddlers! It has been fun, but busy!
They will all be back in a few weekends for a ballgame, so this was a good "trial run"! We have been so glad to see them, since they have moved away from us! We used to see each other every day, so it was quite a change when they moved! We also cannot believe how big the boys are! They are so smart and are talking up a storm.
Myla, Jacob, and Joseph playing on Monday morning.
Sweet JO JO!
Sharing very nicely!
Joseph and Myla thought that putting the mulch from the flower beds on the window ledge was quite fun!
Myla and Jacob playing tractors.
Jacob pushing his tractor through the flower bed.
You can see how worried Joseph was about Gustav!
Mechelle and I braved carrying all the tots into town to get supper! They actually did really well until about 3 miles from the house on the way home. The boys thought it would be fun to have a boxing match with Myla in the middle. I think Myla was a little traumatized, but she recovered quickly!
