Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street??
Wow...those Teletubbies sound really funny.
No, Teletubbies...please don't go!!Myla has figured out how to play peek-a-boo with us by covering her face. She was using her cup in the bathtub the other night to do it. She is too funny!
Michael taught Myla how to give him five the other night. She now does it everytime you ask her too. She is getting SO much more interactive, and she is remembering so many things. She is just so much fun!
Myla is really finding her way around! She crawls to something if she REALLY wants it. Otherwise, she just scoots about. She gets where she wants to go, but it is not always pretty. I thought you might enjoy this video of the proper crawling form.
It might just be my imagination, but I think Myla is starting to recognize and remember songs. Now, when I sing "If You're Happy And You Know It, Clap Your Hands" she will start clapping her hands. It is so cute!!
This was Myla when we got in from town today. We had been to see our friends Katie and Grace. Myla and Grace played and played! I think Grace wore Myla out! I am going to have to teach Myla how to sit more "lady-like" while in her carseat!
Myla was so happy when she got up from her nap this afternoon! There were lots of photo ops, but I thought this one was extra cute. She loves this book that my cousin, Olivia, gave her. It has pictures of her and other family members. She will just look at it and chuckle. I really don't appreciate that when she is looking at my picture. :)
This is Myla and Michael all ready for church on Sunday. We had a great day at church as our paster challenged us to ask Jesus to teach us how to pray like Him! I think we all desire that, but personally speaking, I fail to really ask Him to do that for me. Our pastor is wonderful and so challenging!!
Just thought these two were cute in black and white.
Can you say bad hair day? This is what Myla's hair looks like when she gets up from a nap. Michael thought this was funny, so he snapped the picture. I promise I do try to comb it down!

We went to the park today to see some friends at lunch. We played and played on a blanket and then we made our way to the swings. Myla seems to really like swinging! She was so funny though, because she was leaning all the way forward in the swing, and it looked like she was skydiving! My friend figured out that she thought she was looking at her shadow on the ground. We have such great stay-at-home moms and kids that we get to spend time with during the week! So much fun. Now, the bad news. I took Myla back to the doctor today because she has been acting a little extra fussy, and sure enough...another ear infection! Bless her heart!! This is her fourth one since December, so we are scheduled to see the ENT here in town next Tuesday. I will keep you updated as to what we find out, but I am assuming tubes. YUK!!!

Myla has developed quite a fondness for my Gatorade water bottle. I gave it to her one day in the car because I was caught with no toys on hand, and she loved it! She was playing with it today, and I thought of the song, "Put me in coach, I'm ready to play"! I think of how many times I have sipped on a water bottle during basketball games. I wonder if this is a foreshadowing of the future with Myla! Michael and I wonder if she will like sports. I guess we will just have to wait and see!
